What does Viima mean? Nothing. The pack contains 32 presets: unreleased presets, previously released presets, remixes and updated versions. I hope you'll like it as much as I do. I think I've improved a lot technically (raytracing and some really cool sscs) and I think (and hope) this pack also has the style and originality that made LP6 so nice. Enjoy and program your playlist to sound the same (check intro, second comment for songs required to do that). Thanks to UnConeD for a texer bitmap and to Yathosho for the installer...

[Edit 20-05-2003]
Tuggummi has informed me that Viima does mean something. In Finnish it's a breeze of wind, usually cold. I think it actually suits the pack quite well.

Most of them: Very very cool. I knew some of the presets before, but most of the presets were a real surprise!

Very nice coding as far as I can see.

Nice colors as usual in your presets. I think your skills are getting better and better every pack, but maybe that's just me.

Anyway, these were my favourites:
- with your fear :D (Big Grin)
- arctic rainbow :D (Big Grin)
- spacecube :D (Big Grin)

Others were also nice, but those really were great!

I really can't say much now, but i must say that this pack felt like one helluva trip. Few presets stand out however - Chinook, which looks like some crazy absract picture, only dicamic and way good, Hexual Feeling - well i can't remember a preset that has given me such a feeling of weightlessness, In Effect was another of the "special presets".
Untitled 031 is fairly twisted to grab my brain and hypnotize... A special pack, Sander, very special.

Quite a collection we have here. & I'm glad I'm finally getting to see it!

I really don't know where to begin, seems that this pack is the culmination of all your math skills. You really didn't hold anything back. There's plenty of code in every one of these presets. This of course allows for some innovating presets like Art Retro or Kiani Industries. But at the same time, it seems that you might have gotten a bit carried away with the code sometimes, Semicube is a cool idea but the presentation seems a bit off. Maybe thats just me.

I really liked what you did with the Y element, & I it was nice to see some Yathosho style appear in this pack & there. I wish you would have used more of that approach & tried to use less effects.

For the most part, this is a stellar pack. There are a couple presets where I don't think you fully utilized their potential. But I guess that means that I need to remix them.

Favs are:
Art Retro for its awesome scope
Hexual Healing great Color Map & nice use of the Marvin Gaye reference
In Effect heavenly colors, & amazing design.

Some interesting stuff there. I especially like your use of colours, and the first few presets. Good work!

i'm really impressed by this pack, considering the fact that i'm your same age, and i know like 1/10 maths compared to you. i'm too lazy to comment on every preset, but overall this is an amazing pack, i love how you combine your maths knowledge with stylish visuals. awesome work :) (Smile)

I don't know quite what to say about this pak. In general I liked them, but there were few that I loved. Perhaps a lot of it had to do with some of the surface looks of the presets, many seemed "blurry" to me, not clean and pleasent to view for extended periods of time. I guess this could be due to a transitional period, I realized you're experimenting with some new techniques, and probably when you refine them for LP8 they'll rock hard! Big props for skill, a little letdown for the ususal skupers preset sexiness ;) (Wink)

Faves: Disthereal (kind of an amoeba looking preset, but I love the texture of it and the faint colors), Taking Control 002 (I think I commented on the origianl release of this how much I liked it), Chinook (for the soft color blending), Space Cube (nice variation on a now classic type of preset), Hexual Healing (maybe my fave in the pak), Trisomie (most stylish looking fractal ever), Why I love you so (don't know why, just do), Somedays my rays will cover the earth (very nice colors, very relaxing), Hidden Track (like the color scheme)
